Carrier Transicold Announces Breakthrough Natural Refrigerant Container Technology

(12.14.10) SyracuseCoE Platinum Partner Carrier Corp. presented the first natural refrigerant technology for container refrigeration at Intermodal Europe 2010. Carrier Transicold, the unit of Carrier Corp. heading the development, is using the refrigerant technology to create container refrigeration systems incorporating carbon dioxide in place of conventional synthetic hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants, in hopes to reduce global warming potential.
